So i'm thinking if we're making Jerry's 25th Fest the central theme, I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see J.D. Crowe and Tony Rice play with him.  Toss is Ricky Skaggs for some old "New South"  or....and I know i'm dreaming outloud, but could you imagine...Doyle Lawson and a Bluegrass Album Band set??????

What ever you guys do, I know it will be absolutely fantastic , but any of the above would thoroughly blow my freekin' mind.

 Cheers

Hey Craig, have you ever considered getting Neil Young?   Angel  LOL

Seriously though...2008 was an odd year for me.  I enjoyed some of the new names and smaller acts so much, the big name regulars sort of let me down.  Emmitt-Nershi was really good, but Yonder left me hollow.   Sam was Sam, and that's always good, but Jerry missed the mark with me.  It was Paolo, Tift, and the Sell Season that rocked my world.

So who do I want in 2009?  I don't know yet.  I almost never know until Crain introduces me to them.  I know I want to hear our usual campground pickers (more Steve!!), I don't want to hear Ryan Adams and the Cardinals, I want to hear Emmylou and Alison again, I don't need to hear the Punch Brothers again.  One of the most magical moments in the last 5 years was Xavier on Sunday morning, and I miss him.

But still, what are my real suggestions?  Whatever Craig feels is a perfect fit for TBF!

Auntie Hope, I just noticed you are in Nashville.  We're neighbors!

Oh!!  I forgot Jerry on the list (thanks for reminding me)!.  He was definitely with them at Bonnaroo 2008....INCREDIBLE show!
