Correct Dustin?

yes.

I really hope that isn't the case because there will be a TON of people who aren't even planning on going to TBF who will enter the lottery and either give them to friends or scalp them.  I really hope they make the person who actually wins and pays for the tickets pick them up!!

Da Virgin...you'll quickly learn that Telluride, for the most part, is our little secret. We don't have a big problem with scalpers, as long as you don't tell them about us. Wink

We've always allowed folks to transfer Will Call tickets, and the All Venue pass is no exception. Of course, if the trend changes to us seeing some abuse of the lottery/ scalping...we'll reevaluate.

Luckily for us, and you, that hasn't been a problem in the past. :hop

Nobody that I have ever gotten to know at the festival or on this forum would accept scalpers. We festivarians tend to dislike them and aren't willing to use their tricksyness to our advantage. Thumbs Up

I live in Denver and just about every TP ticket I've seen come up for sale is asking for a premium.  Yeah, most people on this board and the people I've met at the festival wouldn't do it, but there are definitely people that do.

But really, I'm not as worried about scalpers as I am about people gaming the system.  I guess you either learn to play the game or deal with the consequences.

I can't argue there. No matter what event, there are going to be scalpers...however, they don't deal with us too much because the Festivarian nation showers them with offers for face, and very rarely do they ever get more money for the tickets.

If you don't buy the inflated priced tickets, they will send them back for a refund before losing money...then we'll sell them on our Returned Ticket Resale!

Will there be an option BESIDES will call for the Nightgrass tickets?  Having the only ticket option to be at will call makes getting into the show when the doors open impossible since doors and willcall are at the same time. Just wondering....

I am under 21. How likely is it that I can get in to see the Punch Brothers with my older brother as my "parent"?

From my experience last year, I purchased the tickets online and Planet Bluegrass mailed them to my home address directly. I don't even remember if will call was an option...
I'm pretty sure will call WON'T be your only option  Cheers

Dierks is releasing a bluegrass album in June.  Here's a link to the article with track listing and special guest on it.  Mr. Bush may make an appearance, but also some of the other special guest just so happen to be in Telluride at the same time.  Punch Brothers, Alison Krauss, Tim O'Brien, Bryan Sutton.....

Worth checking out for sure.
