Of course, Baileys will go... BUT, for all who havent, you must first taste the Unseen Beans coffee unadulterated.. It is some of the best coffee out there.... And once you meet Gerry, you will be amazed at the passion and love that goes into his coffee..  You may never drink any other brand of coffee again.....

For the kids.........

Ziploc omelets....we did this with our kids when camping.  Quart size freezer ziploc - 1 to 2 eggs and whatever ingredients they like....ham, cooked sausage, cooked bacon, grated cheese, green onion - you get the idea.  Put it all in the bag, have the kids shake them up really good, squeeze out all the air, pop them in a pot of boiling water for 8-10 minutes (lowland cooking instructions-need to adjust for mountain time) making sure to not let the bags touch the hot side of the pot, pull it out with tongs, open bag and presto.....an omelet slides right out of the bag.  You can put em in flour tortillas for ease of eating too.

Oh dear, I can't believe how out of touch with all this I am!!! not access for a week and things have taken on astronomical proportions!!!  LOL LOL LOL
Anyway, great work folks, I have a feeling this is gonna a be one hell of a breakfast, and we all deserve a pat on the back for our efforts and enthusiasm, so thanks Rob for initiating that!

The reason I haven't disclosed the full pastry yet is because, like Rob, I want to have a proper run of the whole thing here before I decide what I'm keeping and what will have to wait for next year... And heck, my last few weeks have been pretty hectic for me to say the least, so there's been no time  Frown
But fear not, it's all under control, the full list will be disclosed shortly, but in the mean time, stick with the basics of butter, flour, eggs, sugar (caster, icing, golden), yeast, baking powder, whipping cream, fresh fruit (strawberries please  Flower ), dark chocolate, almonds (flaked, whole and ground), dried fruit, sunflower oil, milk.
All of the above will be needed no matter what recipes I'll be shortlisting, the first 4 in larger quantities since they are the essence of baking  :) And I'll make special requests with my A Team at a later stage...  Wink

Keep it loose don't come undone, pastry prep will be fun Medal Thats the mantra LaLagay....

Why don't you start a new topic just for the  pasrty prep to see who can contribute what.. I will be glad to help you organize if need be sweet sister... Keep it fun, no stress involved. It's all in the name of fun! And if by chance something does not turn out well, I will bring plenty of Maple bacon chocolate cupcake backup. So no worries lil sister, I got your back on this one.... keep it fun.

hi!  we can bring a 1/2 gallon of milk.  we usually drink skim (*shudder* i know), but i would be willing to pick up some half and half, or 2% if there was a request.  should we just bring it over on wednesday morn, or is there some sort of organized "you bring this, and i'll bring that" kind of list?

sweet!  i'll bring half and half and skim; hubby likes skim, i like half and half on the rare occasions i drink coffee, and this sounds like one of those occasions i should be drinking coffee!  i can probably swing some sugar as well, we've always got that in our cabinet, and it's easy to take home.  i'm sooo excited, and now that our schedule is firm, i know when and where we can contribute.

can't wait to meet you!!   Cheers
