 Wave  As to your numbers....

The way we've been hyping this event you could possibly end up with over a hundred folks your first year. The number could be much larger given the proximity to the central bathrooms.
My advice is to plan on cooking as much as you can stand, be prepared for a BIG party, clean as you go, get lots of help, and take time for yourself to have an equally great time!

Ron, EJ, Hope, and many others are Wander-in
Jailhouse (Ron) is a wander-in annex across the street they have others too
Jess is Part of Fishbone (or is it Tiki this year?)  where St James is the master brewer
Hooch, and Erndog also hang with Run a muck
Telluride Tom is Town Hall

Here's a Campground map

Have a nice Monday y'all

Has anyone put together a rough list of the supplies e.g.(food, pans) that will be needed to pull this off. It seems like there are a lot of people that want to help (like Us) and a list might help so we can commit to bringing certain items.

 Cheers

I think that Wilco1 has a good idea...maybe send out a list, and people can reply by adding what they intend to bring...although i'm sure that either way, the needed supplies will get there!!

Wohoooo! this thread is on fire! I'm feeling quite intimidated now...  Rolleyes
I can give you a preliminary list of ingredients, the quantities are to be adapted to the circumstances of course:
LALAGAY'S LIST (don't take the piss please  LOL )
butter
flour
eggs
sugar (caster, golden, icing varieties)
unwaxed lemons
ground almonds
fresh fruit (apples, strawberries  :) )
double cream
dried fruit (raisins, whatever you feel like)
dark cooking chocolate
flaked almonds
baking powder
live bakers yeast
vanilla pods/extract
cinnamon/mixed spices
orange flower water/rose water

And NO, I'm NOT going to reveal what pastries exactly I'm going to be preparing, I'm working on the element of surprise  Flower

This is going to be one tasty breakfast  Cheers

Right, I'm working on exact quantities at the moment, but I just want to do a quick survey:

What exactly is the oven capacity in TP? Who has a free oven they're happy to put to use? Could you give me the approx size (length/width) of the oven tray in centimeters please? I'm guessing there's only one rack per oven, so if we want everything baked on site we'll need a massive oven mobilization!  LOL

Looking forward to the sweet smells of pastries baking all over the camp  Cheers

We are in for the vanilla and almond extracts. The ground cinnamon is already packed as well. Keep the suggestions coming for flavorings/seasonings!

Just a quick note: The Jailhouse Boys are Rob and Tommy and their mascot is a goose. The guys came into Town Park one year just before the festival music started and found the place short on camping space. Low and behold, Tommy eyed some errant materials in front of the old jail by the bath house, the guys moved them to the side, Ron from WanderIn ran out to help and thus The Jailhouse Boys came into being.

Three camps are the make-up of WanderIn as a whole: WanderIn, Jailhouse and Tucson (Deb, Steve and their sons, Matthew and Alex) and all are basically centered around the Town Park Bath House. I'll be doing dishes anywhere in the area this year.

You really can't miss us if you need water, a shower, are doing your recycling, adding to the compost bin or just plain 'ole have to pee! Stop by anytime!  Thumbs Up
