"Chris and The Punch Bros. are playing Sunday night at The Sheridan Opera House. Hmm, start pulling!"

Where did you see that? I went to both the Sheridaan as well as the Punch Bros, site and there is nothing scheduled

Well, now is as good a time as any to initiate the newbies into the beer buying tradition at the KOTO beer tent.

(I have no inside info BTW - just a hunch based on prior year's experience).

If I am incorrect that Thile/Punch are playing Sun night at the Sheridan then I will buy a beer at the beer tent at 12pm Thu - if I am correct then you buy me a beer.

How does that sound?

By Thursday will be the hungover sunburnt people in the tie dye's with smiles from ear to ear. It should be easy to pick us out of the crowd.

Just found this on their My space page.

  Oakhurst

06-18-2009 20:00 at Telluride Bluegrass Festival Night Grass Show @ FLY ME TO THE MOON
500 E. Colorado Ave., Telluride, Colorado 81435
Cost: $15
For More Information: http://www.bluegrass.com

15 bucks for Oakhurst?

Heck yeah! :dance

I think I've paid about $15-$25 every time I've seen them, of course a couple of those shows have been with them opening for others.

I love me some Oakhurst. They are one of my favorite new bands in CO.

oh.......and Wave everybody. First post.

Well Billy, it looks like I owe you a beer!  Cheers I must say I am happy too pay this one. We saw them last summer at a fest in Michigan called Dunegrass and loved it. I have a great vision of standing not more than fifteen feet away from them while Bela and Peter Rowan sat in lawnchairs off stage just ssitting and enjoying the show.

Thanks, Useless Jo! I look forward to buying you one as well. Tom, I think I owe you at least a sixer by now.
