"We will announce the 2009 Night Grass schedule later this winter. Make sure you're signed up for our "Notes from the Planet" email newsletter for all the latest."

I think we have all seen this under the night grass section of the site and being that spring is only a few days away. I was wondering which acts you guys think or are hoping will have night grass shows. For us a chris Thile show would be a good time and we would be crossing our fingers for a walk on by some of his old band mates.

Look for the nightgrass announcement in April. Usually when it happens. You can count on  Railroad Earth Nightgrass on Thursday, hopefully at the Sheridan(probably).

Is the nightgrass lineup comprised solely of acts that have already been confirmed at the festival (YMSB, RRE, GSBG, etc.)?  Or are there acts brought in just for nightgrass shows?

Most of the acts playing Nightgrass also play the festival but historically there has also been the occasional act who plays at Fly Me to the Moon Saloon on a Wed or Thu who is not playing TBF.

Ohppp I stand to be corrected. As you can see I love to be helpfull but I am no expert... so perhaps I should hold back next time and let the vets take it Flower Cheers Ya learn something new everyday....

That's exactly what I was thinking! Lets hope our mutual brain waves will start working on Chris Thile's unconscious and pull on those Nickel Creek heartstrings ...  Wink

I think I've paid about $15-$25 every time I've seen them, of course a couple of those shows have been with them opening for others.


I love me some Oakhurst. They are one of my favorite new bands in CO.
