I agree it's time for a Railroad Earth reprise at Telluride.

Also, having seen a rare appearance of the Bad Livers at HSB, I think another rare reunion at Telluride would be great.

Other bands?  Hmmm...

Robert Earl Keen
Dry Branch Fire Squad
South Austin Jug Band

There's more I'm sure, but it's Monday morning and I'm not firing on all cylinders yet.

Speaking of rare reunions the Desert Rose Band just recently began a reunion tour. It features Chris Hillman (formerly of the Byrds) and Herb Pederson.
The last time they appeared in Telluride was 1986.

I know it's probably but a dream but I'd love to see The Reeltime Travelers reunite. Maybe we could at least see Martha though.

I think I should have no other mortal wants, if I could always have plenty of music. It seems to infuse strength into my limbs and ideas into my brain. Life seems to go on without effort, when I am filled with music.

Wave - OK you asked for it  LOL
I'm really supposed to be cleaning house and yard before winter sets in. Designing a festival from your suggestions is way more fun. Since Craig has several months to make this happen, here is my first pass at the TBF 2009 Telluride Bluegrass Festival Lineup, I've used your suggestions and added a few of my own.

Awesome suggestions.  Here is one that is a bit more celtic than bluegrass, but fun: Scythian.

Hey Jen,

Do you see them play at Four Fields in Cleveland Park? I have a couple of friends (Tory, Adrienne - ring a bell?) who are total die-hards for those guys.

 Cheers

Nice list Hippie!  Getting all the girls (and the "girls") back again for a Boomchicks reunion would be great!

Hey, Billy:

I didn't see that particular Scythian show, but I do know Tori and Adrienne from Blarney Ball activities. In fact, I expect to see them at RiRa in Arlington this Thursday night for a happy hour before The Duhks play IOTA.

Jen

P.S. Also, I know I don't have a photo up - - but I am the one that met you at the State Theater Sam Bush show a couple of years ago.

Ah yes, the beauty of the festivarian community is clearly at work here - it's a festivus miracle!  Wink

So, are you the one and only Jenny Hughes who I also saw at Neil Young???  Wave
