In no particular order

The Obvious and Traditional Requests:

Tim O'Brien
Sam Bush
Jerry Douglas
Del McCoury
Peter Rowan
Edgar Meyer
Bela Fleck and the Flecktones
Great American Taxi
Emmitt-Nershi Band
Leftover Salmon
String Cheese Incident (if they decide to reunite for a weekend)
Keller Williams
Honkytonk Homeslice
Yonder Mountain String Band + Darol Anger
Doc Watson
Jerry Grisman
Tony Rice
Nickel Creek/Chris Thile
Martin Sexton
Old Crow Medicine Show
Wilco
Nitty Gritty dirt Band
Leo Kottke (+Mike Gordon if possible)
Michael Franti and Spearhead
Emmylou Harris
Lucinda Williams
Railroad Earth
Arlo Guthrie
Allison Krauss and Union Station
Hot Rize
House band-Sam, Jerry, Bela, Tim, Peter, Edgar (the reason to come)

The long Shots:

Phish (they are reuniting you know…I know I am going to take heat for this one)
The Dead
Bonnie Raitt
Willie Nelson
John Prine
Pete Seeger (that would be so ridiculously awesome and necessary)
Neil Young (please please, I know it’s a long shot, but please)
Eddie Vedder (just gonna throw that one out there and say go listen to the Into the Wild Soundtrack and watch him play the euk.)
John Denver (I guess that is kind of a long, long shot, eh?)
Jerry Garcia (even longer???)
Bill Monroe (guess I probably went too far with that one)

The unusuals:

Karl Denson's Tiny Universe
Head for the Hills (Ft. Collins)
Taj Mahal (I saw him recently and he rocked the house)
Clumsy Lovers (they are fun)
Slack Family Bluegrass Band (they are kind of fun)
Tom Catmull and the Clerics (I am from Missoula, Montana and must do a shameless plug for my favorite local band)
Buena Vista Social Club (that would be an interesting fun one...probably have to get the ok from Fidel)
Some sort of tribute to the late, great Utah Phillips

I think that is enough...

A good suggestion for something slightly veering away from bluegrass is the Fleet Foxes. They would be perfect for this setting. If you haven't heard their critically acclaimed self-titled album it's like CSNY if Brian Wilson was in the band and they rented a cabin in the Northern Cascades and  wrote an album together

I would like to see the following in order of my preference:

The Packway Handle Band
The Hackensaw Boys
The Biscuit Burners
The Be Good Tanyas
The New Orleans Bingo Show - Not Bluegrass but soooo much fun, they would be good at nighttime in a small venue, not the big stage.

Thanks!!

Mike Farris to open Sunday.  His voice is amazing and soulful and he's been playing the gospel front lately.  Simply inspiring!!
