A friend of mine just posted this as her FB status:

Who would eat this? Beer ice cream topped by candied bacon?

Apparently, there is a restaurant near Kansas City that serves this.... umm maybe we can replicate????

so weird . . I definitely trued beer ice cream yesterday! it tasted like the room smells when you're making beer. Gross. like wet barley.

I've got some candied bacon in my freezer and it's downright delicious!  I'll be bringing it to TBF but won't go to far.  I'd certainly eat it on ice cream, but I think my gag reflex is a bit stiffer than some people's.

Here's another perfect bacon product for Hooch when he's wearing his tie-dye.

Haha!!!  That's awesome Tom!!!  Somehow I missed that post back in December.

Debbie, thanks for the link.  I think we will definitely go with the apple/cinnamon, pepper, and regular bacon varieties.  Hippie Jerry and I will need to get the Run-A-Muck head-count and bacon requirements in the next month or so.  I know you guys have held the bacon at your camp the last couple of years but did you haul it or have it shipped to Telluride directly?  I also need to look into bacon containment.  Maybe a new cooler (always looking for a reason to upgrade/add festi-gear).

Hooch- One year, I had her contracted go get it in Denver and then she delivered to Telluride .. Last year, I had it shipped to my house ( day before we left) and then we brought it with us... That worked fine too.  The "bacon containment unit" made a nice end table for camp...

Oh and I just confirmed- we no longer have to buy it in cases per flavor.... (in the past we had to buy 12 lbs of whatver so that's why we tended to just get straight bacon)....... Just a minimum 5 lb order to have shipped.....LOLOLOL, I think we may be able to make that minimum.....

Well that's good news!  I may buy some of the apple cinnamon and the pepper/garlic to try at home.  I'm sure they are good but, heck, it's bacon so why not?
