Y'know, I thought I heard 60 pounds, then got home and realized that was ridiculous, that you must have said 16. Really Hooch? Really??
You are going to need to ScotchGuard your robe if we expect to continue this pace.
Thank you for your tireless bacon-braising efforts!

I thought I'd give you a heads up that I offered Woof, Hooch, and/or Crunchy Frog in exchange for a Friday ticket.  My own, not yours this year.

But, as an afterthought I did offer up you.

I'll let you know if you are a good marketing ploy, but who can deny a bacon thong?

Just so you know, the whole bacon thong thing isn't working very well.  Apparently you don't have as much swing as I thought you did.

I thought at least the offer of booze would work.

Eh, it's only Sunday.

as a vegetarian, I really don't like the whole bacon topic thing, much less mass bacon cooking (phew!) But, when I saw this article I immediately thought of you guys that are into bacon LOL, I don't think it has been mentioned in the thread already:
http://www.uberreview.com/2006/02/print-your-own-bacon.htm

Scientists are hard at work so you can use a modified ink-jet printer to make yourself some bacon. Tissue engineers from the Medical University of South Carolina, and Clemson University, have been printing biomaterials with modified  ink-jet printers. The cartridges are filled with suspensions of living cells then the software that controls the characteristics of the ink does the rest. If ink jet cartridges are expensive now wait until you have to replace a hickory smoked bacon flavor cartridge.

Yeah, me too.  But idea of bacon on a stick is pretty good.  Bacon Kabobs for next year are on my list.  Maybe throw some sort of glaze on them also.  Mmmmmm...

On a skewer, then grilled.  And whatever else you want on it. Pineapple, peppers, whatever, home-grown 'maters (that's tomatoes for all the Brits), and whatever you might like. Hey maybe next year we could have a do-it-yourself kabob bar,  with Raw'n  and Kaptain on the grill.  Hmmm.  more like yummmm.

No, but Daniela makes a kick-ass appetizer that's just a water chestnut with bacon wrapped around it, held together with a toothpick, and you stick it in the oven.  It's damned fine.

Yeah!  You should pass that idea along to some of the music writers in Town Park!
