I would also recomend one of those little coleman "sportcat" heaters. Get the smallest one, because they burn up one canister after about 18 hours which is a pretty long time. I connect mine to a regular tank. I also agree about good gear as a first step, and can recall waking in line one morning feeling really toasty in my bag with ice on the outside. It can be wet and miserable though, and a heater feels real good inside your tent. Tent? Something tall enough to stand in nice, and extra tarps to keep the area around you dry makes life easier in the rain. Bring some heavy duty tent stakes and extra rope to hang them. Duct tape. Gettin close! I saw Yonder last night, it was Jeff's birthday. It was festive and fun. Lots of folks here in Tahoe from out of town. Vince Herman opened, and joined for a few tunes.
