ok....I am getting out there....I admit...I have been lurking for a couple of weeks...now I am so excited I want to go today! Here's another question, I am coming up Monday to town park but I don't have a vehicle pass. can I drive my car in there to drop off all my stuff and then go park at the festival parking? One of my veteran TP buddies said to bring a wagon or something. Am I a going to turn into a pack mule hauling stuff?

You'll be able to drive in and drop off your stuff. Thumbs Up

If your designated camp is going to be in the Bear Creek Preserve area, then you'll have to haul it in from the entrance to that area as cars are not allowed in that section. Hope that helps. Cheers

Just a little bit of trivia, but sometimes those guests you see are nothing more than web spiders collecting info for google and the like.

I just mean the spot where you want to set up camp. All of the veterans have a designated spot they always go to. Cheers

See the map at: http://www.courtnessjames.com/FESTIVALpages/tellurideindex.html

Many groups have been coming for years and always end up on the same spot, by chance, by understanding, by kind generous fun, by the willingness to abgat, by their crazy spirit that makes it all so fun.  There's plenty of room to sqoosh one way or the other so people who have been coming for year can have their same spot.  Besides, it was so much fun to watch the attempts by the Steamboat camp to create their water generator.

It's nice and you really have nothing to worry about.  I've been thinking about migrating but I know I can't make any decisions until I get there and until I know how many people are joining me.  It's uncertain until my New Orleans friends get their tickets.

You see the thing here Yonderphreak is that we've all been camping in the same places for, in some cases, years and years.  So we actually bring our camp setups that have been "designed' for a particular spot.  Plus, if these big pickin camps moved around year to year, my drunken friends and I would have a hell of a time finding the camps without risking serious injury!!

Can I get an AMEN braddahs an sistahs?!!

Good point Monkeygirl - Imagine if Fishbone moved and Steamboat, and the town hall, it would just be too confusing.  Thinking about it causes heart tremors.
