Pared down for a quick detour from standard tour, it could be just a man, his wife and a guitar. Could make the flight out on Sunday AM to Michigan. Not elaborate Graceland style anyway most likely. I am going with the hope of it based on prior post noting Bridal Veil Falls, Main Street and that view from the stage.

There were multiple Paul sightings a few years ago when Steve and Edie jumped in for Mumford...There was rumor that he might take the stage and stand in, but of course never did. Buuuut, maybe he was romanced by main street and bridal falls, and dropping some his fees a little....

Also- remember this from Ferg in Dec: "Hmm... goodness... whoever do we start with? I know who I WANT to start with, only been trying to hire him for 30 straight years or so, but that might need some time to get the "ok"."

Who could that be?? Is "he" already on the line up?? I don't think so!

Yes he is! It is Neil Finn. Ferg has been trying to get Neil Finn there for thirty years ( and he will be awesome)

That said, Paul Simon would be cool...on our new stage!

Wrong Neil. Ferg has been trying to get Neil Young.

That would be epic. I have had the pleasure of hearing Neil live sadly only once. It was at Red Rocks and it was just one man and a white T shirt and guitar. His hair so fine and beautiful and wispy moving in the wind and he sounded so on, just like I have always known. He consumed the crowd and took up the entire stage. Just his presence was so, umm well, big. EPIC!  Flower I'm getting goosebumps Medal

Neil Young will be in France/Spain.  I will be seeing him at Jazz Fest and Memphis in May though.

I saw a post (may have been John himself on Facebook) that said he would be in Telluride this year. Thumbs Up

Maybe we'll get The Doobie Brothers. That way, we can get Bill Payne back to play with Salmon!
