I'm definitely dreaming of Lawson Hill today because it's SNOWING so much here in Milwaukee.  Terrible!!  I hope the next snow I see is on the peaks of the mountains, not the windows of my car  :)

We are going to try and arrive right when they open the gates at 8 a.m.

HighinAZ, welcome my friend.

And yeah, I feel for ya Andi. It rained all week here in Iowa but luckily I was in Vegas for Spring Break and missed it. Now that the trip is over my mind will be stirrin' with festival thoughts each and every day. Ha, especially when I am bored as hell in class. Peace all

Hey all!
This will also be my first TBF experience and I can't even explain how excited I am!  I am worried though because my buddy won't be flying in untill Wednesday so we won't be arriving at Lawson untill Wed evening.  How does it work with camping spots??  We already purchased camping passes but it is first come first serve.....any suggestions???
I look forward to many music filled evenings with y'all!

I'm a festivirgin, as far as Telluride goes, and I am super excited! I will be camping in Lawson and volunteering up at Mary E. I guess it's the best of both worlds! I'm from Oklahoma so flat baseball field like conditions are just like home. I am bringing a shade house of some sort to help out with the sun and rain. The river sounds great too.

I can't wait to meet some other volunteers and drink some good beer. My faves are New Belgian Brew and Long's Peak Blueberry, which I don't get very often, since Oklahoma keeps all the beer WARM because of the stupid liquour laws. If Long's Peak Blueberry is in season I'll bring some down from Estes Park to share.  Cheers

And I can't wait to hear some great music. I don't play anything and only really sing when no body's listening, but I love to be part of that outer circle around the pickers that Cort talks about. Like the glass around a cake.  Headphones
