How about a return of the Carolina Chocolate Drops - they were on fire at Fresh Grass this past September.  Or perhaps a gathering of the New Basement Tapes participants.

wow, just listened to Carolina Chicolate Drops for first time, fantastic, thanks for suggesting.

Railroad Earth just finished recording an album with Warren Haynes, that would be a nice closer. Been a few years since Railroad last played TBF. And Warren, well you know.....

I've been waffling about whether I can make the trip or not, but if this (or Tedeschi Trucks Band) gets booked, I'll do everything in my power to get down there.

And we want Matt to finally make his way back and get that true Town Park experience he deserves. After all, he did introduce me and my younger brother (who some of you have met) to bluegrass music and this festival 8 or 9 years ago. I wouldn't have made 7 years in a row if Matt hadn't given me the initial push.

 Cheers

I'm actually pretty sure he has.  I think he came with Bela Fleck like 10 years ago or so.

Jake played a tweener many years ago that was so good. He can really whale on that Uke I don't think he played an actual set however. Love his energy! Medal

Yes, Jake played Telluride in 2004, a tweener. He was on tour with The Flecktones. He did an Elks Park workshop with Bela that year. Love that man. Uke on crack is the best description!  Thumbs Up
