Maybe they can line up the Dirty Kitchen to play FirstGrass. That show has not yet been announced, has it?

Well damn.   Tessa & I both entered, and used the same card.   So now the rules say *all* our orders will be invalidated.

Well, it was the first time I've tried the nightgrass Lottery, so i wasn't going to get tix anyway, at least now there's a reason

Hey guys! iiiiiiit's FESTIVAL SEASON! :)

Is anyone else still hoping for a surprise showing of Mumford and Sons? I know they don't have any tour dates lined up for this summer, other than Lolapalooza in Chicago. I know they love Telluride, and didn't get to come last year, so I'm crossing my fingers for Marcus Mumford comin' out with Yonder and/or Punch Brothers @ the Sheridan.

A walk-on from M&S would be the event of the year...Here's hoping!

Planet Bluegrass should do a live 3 day webcast of the nightgrass drawing. It would be like the NFL draft, only more exciting.

What a horribly awesome idea.  Evil

I'm already cursed to be sitting here refreshing my email every five minutes for the rest of the day. Anybody know what the reality of "We'll begin processing entries on Thursday, April 17" really means? ;-)

God, I love this time of year.

I know that curse! I've been looking all day [and have checked my creditcard online 3 times] to see if anything hit.
Another curse compounding it:  being an 'east coaster'  I was anxiously looking before the sun rose in Colorado. LOL

(Remember the ol Heinz commercial: "Anticipay-yay-tion its makin me wait"...it keeps runnin thru my head)

I know:

tick....tock........tick...........tock

The only time the clock moves slower is when you're on a treadmill.

and yet I'll be afraid to open an email from PB knowing that this lottery system keeps getting bigger and bigger with more and more competition.

Every year I tell myself I'm tired of being exhausted at tarp run every day, maybe I'll skip some nightgrass.

And every year the planet lines up shows that are just unmissable.

Sleep be damned!

Last year, as we were stumbling down Main street after the Pert Near show at FMTTM and lamenting our sleep deprivation, my buddy said, "I ain't gonna miss a note. I can always sleep when we get back home". Pretty much sums up Festival! Thumbs Up

Don't think Mumford has toured since the brain injury....and don't think they have plans to anytime soon--- http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/mumford-sons-no-activity-for-the-foreseeable-future-20130921
