My wish came true . Greensky @ the Palm . The only problem is Del McCoury that same night . PBG is making it very very difficult to choose . And then theirs the main stage going on too . SLEEP !! WHAT'S THAT ?? At least if one request doesn't go through we have chance at the second choice . IS IT JUNE YET!!

The good news for you is that Greensky is Friday and Del is Saturday. The hard part will be leaving the Salmon main stage show early... What is everyone thinking for the lotto? I'm going to go with Yonder on Wednesday, Salmon on Thursday, Yonder followed by Greensky on Friday and I'll round it all out with some Del on Saturday. Wish me luck! Good luck to y'all!

That's true . I've never been to the Yonder show at the Conference Center . Would love to get a hold of one of those tickets . I like your schedule Englishmartin . That would be ideal . I would love to see an intimate set from O'Brien and Scott too .

GOOD LUCK TO EVERBODY!!

Do the Nightgrass shows typically start at 11 pm?

I've only been fortunate enough to win Punch Bros tickets in the lottery, which was several years ago.  That year the Punch Bros did not go on until well after midnight.

I'm trying to get a sense as to whether or not I really need to choose between the last act on the main stage and a night grass show, or whether the night grass doesn't really get started until well after the advertised 11 pm start time.

Even if you don't win a Yonder CC ticket, you will be able to get one at the door. I've never been to a Yonder CC show without seeing ten people selling their extras at the door. It seems a lot of people think they'll be good trade material and buy them for that reason, but they aren't good trade material. At all. That venue is so large that tickets aren't hard to come by. If you want to see it, you will be able to. I love the CC show. The best Yonder show I've ever seen was the 2009 CC show. Nothing I've seen them do has ever compared to that night. They always bring it and the ticket is usually easy to get a hold of. Enjoy!

I believe the Moon is about 200-250 & the conference center is about 900.

How hard to you think it will be to sell extras at face. I'm thinking about having everyone in my group of three put in for 3 so we would only need one win. If we all get lucky we would end up with 6 extra... I'd rather have too many than not enough though.

In the past, it's normally been fairly easy to purchase OR sell a wed yonder ticket ... unloaded mine last year without much problem.  While I believe it sold out faster than years past last year, I still think the supply/demand equation allowed for a friendly aftermarket in either direction.   It'll be interesting to see what happens this year, now that it's being subject to a lottery.  One might think that the supply/demand ratio will still be similiar to the past, but if everyone does what you're contemplating ... it might shift the aftermarket dynamic a bit.  There might be more extras in the hands of more people who simply want to insure their admittance, in addition to those who (erroneously) believe the cc tix might serve as trade bait for other shows.

All excellent points. I don't see the tickets being any harder to get a hold of than years past, but the lottery system might turn this particular concert into a buyer's market. As FOM said, if everyone tries what English Martin is planning for the Conference Center, that ticket could become more difficult to unload. I don't think the lottery will make it more difficult to find tickets for this show, but I think it is a possibility that some people will end up selling their extra tickets below face just to get rid of them. My recommendation if you do end up with extras is to do your best to sell them on the forum before you get to the festival.

I think you can only put in for two... But I have never had trouble selling extras to anything except the Palm shows.

"As with last year, we're limiting orders to 2 tix per show at the Sheridan and Moon, and 4 tix per show at the Palm and Conference Center."
