I have a question about Dailey & Vincent.   These guys are pretty much kings in the bluegrass world and I saw them at a close fest here in NC recently.  Do they just not want to play the more "hippy" fests?  Show I saw was on par with some of the best bluegrass I've seen by anyone ever.

Are you guys fans?  I mean they've won 13 IBMA awards, several for best performers of the year, they have grammies, they are a power band, so why not Telluride?  Seems like a real glaring omission for them to have never been here.  WHY?

two things:

1. The Punch Brothers - Looks like 2014 will be busy for them with the whole Inside Llewyn Davis soundtrack... how sweet would it be to get a whole crew from that production at Telluride?  Plenty of them have been there before, Gillian, the Chocolate Drops etc

2. Jason Isbell - would go great at Telluride!

The Black Lillies!!!!

I've been following this group for several years now.  Their new release Runaway Freeway Blues is one you should check out.  Live shows are where you should see them.  They bring it!!  Della Mae fiddler Kimber Ludiker often makes appearances with them.  An Appalachian melt of roots, blues, country and rock that will not disappoint Telluride fans.

Hard to go wrong with just about anybody on No Depression's Top 50 Albums of 2013 list: Link Here (numbers 11, 41 and 42 already covered, while many others have graced the stage recently)

I'd especially like to see nos. 1 and 2, throw in 6 for good measure, but any are fine really, thanks.

To fellow Festivarians, check out MP3 downloads on Amazon currently, many of these are 5 bucks now (and for a limited time, I'm sure.)

The smokin' deal left is now gone! Like all good things the time has now passed, but I hope many of us got/get to enjoy what I can only assume was their pricing mistake.

But wait, there's more...

Announce the full lineup already, willya?!  Cheers

I see that Ray LaMontagne is playing Floyd Fest this summer.  I would LOVE to see him live, especially since he doesn't tour much. I missed his set at Bonnaroo a few years ago, and I've been kicking myself ever since!

I am very excited to see Mr. B Fleck and The CO Symphony. Medal WOW TALK ABOUT FILLIN THE STAGE!

You know what would be a cool set. To start with just one person, one sound. One by one each sound to come on and join in ant the immensity of this sound grow and grow and grow. WOW!!!!!!!

For some this will be a first and many cannot even identify each sound alone. EXCITED!!!!!!! :burn

How about Shovels and Rope? I haven't seen them mentioned yet. They have really taken off in the past year.
