Your Crunchy Frog shot, if you're so (un)fortunate to have one, will be served with extra Crunch.

Unfortunate is right. I'll take two!

Wait!  Are any of you people actually going to this festival? Cheers

I would love to see the Cheese, since I chose Yonder over them this New Years.

As long as they don't let Michael Travis sing. :)

You know I'll be there, Roach. I haven't missed a TBF in 5 years and I'll be damned if the 40th is my first.

I've watched this video 74 times in the last week.  I need someone else to watch it so that I can return to my garden before the turnips die.  http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/whiteflight/white-flight-pyramid-of-light

So it looks like a def no on the Phish coming to t ride for the fest. But apparently they were asked by PB and had to decline.

Take it for what its worth.

Nans! No way PB asks Phish to play TBF... Phish isn't really into playing "other people's festivals" They throw their own and with Festival 10 on for the summer, I highly doubt they play another fest to compete WITH THEIR OWN!

I mean didn't Phish already play Telluride with PB's help...ON THEIR OWN!?!!!  Wink

I don't know ... I'm a believer in the philosophy that a rising tide lifts all boats.  Playing TBF for Phish would only be a positive thing for them and the festival, IMO.  Telluride is far from most places, so I don't believe a "contractual radius clause" would apply (which I think are typically unnecessary and a detriment to the fan anyhow).

Wow.  I'm surprised about all this negative jibber-jabber.  Cheese fans have the dancing bug!  I'd get down.  Woo hoo

The more I think about this, the more excited I get. Originally I wasn't that stoked on the idea, but the thought of an Emmitt-Nershi band late night with guests gives me goosebumps. I mean maybe cheese would get a late night, which would be alright, as long as they brought drew along.

Everyone needs to stop being cranky. It is going to be glorious no matter what. And the majority of the people there will be there because of the whole festival and everything it represents. Remember tickets were sold out without a single act announced! See you there, can't wait! 4 months!!!!! Wave

Notes:

Steve couldn't make it this year.

Yes, THAT Dispatch. :)

THERE ARE single Thursday and single Sunday, for now.  A friday/saturday in Ilium with a lil road trip or something wouldn't suck.  And, MAYBE some nightgrass.  They are going to be hard to come by.

No Cheese or Salmon for Nightgrass.

And, we'd respectfully request a week or two before having the nightgrass done!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please?

And, while everyone may not love everything on the lineup, it is our way of saying

THANKS

It looks like YES! String Cheese is returning to Telluride this year; however, they are playing a "sunset set" on Friday. The "sunset set" will probably be the typical 1hr 15min 1 set that day acts usually get...not the 2+ hours the headliner slot gets. Dispatch gets the Friday headlining slot instead of SCI?

To top it all off, SCI does NOT get a Nightgrass? So much for the last 3 acts being "headliners" but I suppose they all 3 could "sell out Red Rocks."  Frown huh
