I'd like to double reiterate what CindyLou said.  There is a LOT of free music outside the festival grounds.  I'll also reiterate what Hippie said about not paying more than face value for tickets.  I'd also like to say the word "bacon" for no reason in particular.  My advice is to come no matter what.  Keep your ears open for music and tickets.  You will not be disappointed.

I want to double reiterate what Hooch said:  Bacon bacon

if the worst happens (not likely) and you don't get tickets, you can listen to the fest from your condo (if it is close) or streaming on the radio (KOTO) if not.  And you can certainly hear from many spots along the river.  But trust the universe.  It is true that every year tons of tickets are available, starting two weeks before the fest, on the forum.  And even more once you get to town.  Also true that this year seems to be different, with more big names and more non-Festivarians getting their hands on tickets and scalping to obscene levels.

I still say, trust the universe!!

Looks like we've sorted out our RRE nightgrass as well.  So we'll be flying into Montrose Thursday evening, getting to Telluride about 10ish.  Checking in at the Inn, and then headed straight to the Sheridan.

So we'll probably meet everyone Friday morning on the field.  Woo hoo
What time is the tarp run?  and what time does the music kick off?
