thanks for the kleen kanteen link.  I love you forum peeps.  This will be our honeymoon, and first time in Telluride.  I talked to a few members of RRE on sunday (Sioux Falls, SD) and they said the elevation will hit you like a brick.  We will be in Denver for 2 days before headin' to T-RIDE.  Plan on drinkin' plenty of water (thanks Hope).  Will not let over drinkin' take us away from a good time.  We'll be riding bikes, and have had a few drunken bike rides to know better.  I love you guys, can't wait to bump into you at this fest!!!
Much love from me Bryan, the new wife Shauna, and our chocolate Lab, Porter Brown.  Gonna miss the dog, 11 days from home.

Has anyone else heard about the bike bells for beer cups?  Think I read on TBF's site.

Would a Festivarian be able to get a fill-up @ the New Belgium tent?

Sorry, but no. LOL

@ Bryan ans Shauna,
Denver ain't NOTHING of a brick compared to Telluride. Those RRE guys were not puling your leg. Trust me....... in 2008 I spent 4 days in Grand Junction (5,000 ft.) and the elevation still hit me hard upon arrival in Town Park.

@ UJo... welcome to my happy place! We're THRILLED you two are headed back this year!!!

Ginger is good relief for any elevation-related issues. Ginger ale, ginger snaps, candied ginger, and quite possibly,  ginger BEER!  And if that doesn't help, find me and I'll give you some Body Balance. It most definitely helps, and is quite a good cure for hangovers.  I'm in Camp Run-a-Muck.

Holy Crap! I just went from a "forumvarian" to an Old Timer with this post!  Oh well, after 34 Telluride Bluegrass Festivals, it was bound to happen sometime.  Cheers horsey horsey strong

That would probably work too. Maybe we can get Jerry G. to make some at BIT so they are readily available. I went to a Christmas party where we were invited to decorate our own gingerbread people, and there were some VERY creative ones!

Thanks Johnny?  Fitgers Pub returned my email.  They will send me an estimate on mailin' plastic growlers.  She said it was unusual but was happy to help.

The brewerys around sell plastic growlers for all th floaters on the rivers. Give ma a day or two and I'll call around to see if I can pick up a few to bring with me. I always bring a 5 gal. Keg or two and refill my nalgene or stainless bottle. I'll see if I can get a line on case of river growlers and get back to you.

So I am thinking the keg is going to be the best option for our camp and its definitely a better green option. But I have questions to you who have brought them in the past, how have you kept them cold? I have buried them camping at the lake before but will that be an option in Mary E?
