We're announcing the complete 2011 single-day lineup tomorrow morning (along with single-day tickets). The final lineup will include 4 additional artists.  Here's another of them...

Jerry Douglas featuring Omar Hakim & Viktor Krauss

Legendary jazz/rock drummer Omar Hakim (Miles Davis, Sting's Blue Turtles Band, Eric Clapton, etc etc).  Brilliant upright bassist Viktor Krauss (Bill Frisell, Lyle Lovett, etc etc).  And 27-year Telluride Bluegrass veteran and genius of the dobro Jerry Douglas.

Our expectations were very high for this trio's live debut last year on the Telluride Bluegrass stage.  Their spectacular set blew well past those expectations by the end of the first tune - intricate, adventurous, and boldly virtuosic.  I sat on the edge of my seat the entire set, literally laughing with giddy joy the entire time, only stopping for an occasional standing ovation.

This audience video is a little shaky, but the music's the deal - and oh what a deal it is. Absurdly good...

Thumbs Up  I'm right there with you brother...I can not WAIT for this one again.  Omar rocks it and has a blast doing it, and one of my deep dark secrets is that Jerry is my favorite TBF artist year after year (don't tell the King!)
