apologies if this has been asked and answered  hundreds of times before, but i did look around first and didn't find it.

that said, i'm neither a veteran or a newbie--have been to TBF 6 times now (every other year rotation pretty much), so, i'm generally knowledgeable but i am a newbie (brand-newbie) to camping in town park.  it will just be my girlfriend and me, and as much as i admire many of the elaborate set-ups/campsites i see, we travel pretty light.  but, what i'd like to get a sense of is exactly how light i need to be travelling if we figure on getting to town park late afternoon/early evening on tuesday.  i don't mind that the car will probably need to go all the way back to mountain village, but, within the campground, what kind of space should i expect?  we can make it with just our 2 person tent if need be, but would there likely be space remaining to put a a larger shade pitch over it as well?  or, would there maybe be natural shade remaining at that point?

all thoughts appreciated, Douglas

There should be room available for your 2 person tent and a shade tarp or ez-up.
Just ask around and someone should point you in the right direction. Flower
