I'm just looking for some people to potentially meet up with. I'm coming out by my self. No one I know can or would like to go. Coming from Hampton Roads Virginia.

Well..my name is Matty.  I am coming from Chicago with a group of kind souls.  We are not camping, but staying in a rental home across the street from Town Park.  You are more than welcome to hang with us! Cheers

Best place to hang out until then, is right here on this board! You will surely find many people to become friendly with.  You can facebook me here.. http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/profile.php?id=735748688

Always love to meet new people--especially bluegrass loving folks! Thumbs Up

Oh and BTW, We live in AZ now but husband ( Steve) and I went to W&M.  Still an area I visit frequently along with the OBX, so I'm familiar with your neck of the woods..

Lindsay Lou.. have you met Cindy Lou? You will SOON!!!  LOL

Honey, you already have tons of friends here on the forum. Just make the trip to get your hugs!  :hug :hug :hug

Do you have your ticket yet? If so, where are you camping? That's the best place to start for hook-ups!

Don't forget to pack everything from your bathing suit to your parka! The weather can change in seconds... or LESS!

Welcome! We're all looking forward to meeting you in person!  Thumbs Up

Everything sounds like it will be alright then huh. I have not bought my ticket yet. And I have no idea where I'm staying at.  Just know I'm going to go. Should have my tickets by next Thursday when I get the taxes back :)

I went to Delfest for the first time last year and it was the most fun I've ever had (this will be my first year at Telluride).  I've already got tickets for Delfest and I'm attending the academy for the 2nd time, so I get to be there for 4 extra days.  you should bring an inner-tube to float down the Potomac; there's a big horseshoe all around the festival grounds that takes about a half hour to float and I didn't get to do it last year cause I didn't know about it.  Live and learn.  Ticket prices go up in 2 days...

In 07 I was just amazed at how many ppl from IL. I ran into. One fella, whom I've never seen again lived just 45min from me..and there we were festivating in T-ride! Good times for sure...
