This will be my 6th year attending the Telluride Bluegrass Festival. We can barely stand it each year as we wait for June to arrive! We have a much smaller bluegrass festival here in Flagstaff in September (Pickin' in the Pines) that helps with Festival withdrawl. I was so excited to see the initial lineup for this year that I wanted to share it with my Telluride Bluegrass friends. (current and future!)
Sam Bush
David Grisman Sextet
Michael Cleveland and Flamekeeper
The Hillbenders
The Blue Canyon Boys

Now that I have broken my forum cherry-I look forward to spending much time here to get me thru until June!!!

I'll second that emotion.  Pickin' in the Pines is a fantastic festival in a beautiful venue.

It's also a great alternative to that high-security, buzz-stomping event in Pagosa over Labor Day, where the local teenagers will rob you blind and security will shut down your acoustic pickin' session.

Great to hear Michael Cleaveland is finally getting out and playing more national festivals! He played at the Folks Fest In Butte Montana this summer and even had a workshop. Still am kicking myself over missing this.
I'm really excited to get to finally see him and I think it would be fun if they had a fiddlin' workshop this year too. I greatly enjoyed the Pete Wernick play along clinic last year and would enjoy doing something like that again.

They're putting out a new album, Fired Up sometime this spring.
