Living Life With Delusions Of Banjur

URL icon « on: February 07, 2011, 11:22:35 AM »

I'm happy to get the opportunity to share with our Forumvarians this news first. I'm pretty excited about this one.

Once a year we get to dance and enjoy each others company in Telluride.
Can you imagine being anywhere else?
Magic happens, and this band will undoubtedly add some energy and have people dancing.
Should I tell you now, or wait a few? Wink

Let's see if anyone can figure it out. The proof is in the posting.

Ladies and Gentlemen, It is my great pleasure to announce that joining us for the 2011 Telluride Bluegrass Festival will be none other than our old friends...

Old Crow Medicine Show

Their old time sound and infectious energy is guaranteed to be a highlight of the weekend.

Awesome!

This made me remember that the Big Surprise tour was something I'd REALLY wanted to catch ... with Gillian & David, The Felice Brothers, and Justin Townes Earle alongside Old Crow.

Maybe some of these others were invited along, as well??
(I feel like I'm disingenuous by asking for more! How sad!)

I can't take it anymore.  Resistance is FUTILE.  I have been assimilated.  I had strong intentions of missing this year after an epic June/August in the Box Canyon.  Time to find a ticket and reunite with fellow festivarians!

 Cheers
