I've never let the economy interrupt major show plans.  There are times I have to miss shows, but I generally only miss people who come through frequently, so I'll be sure to see them again.  Living in MT, you have to take what you get show-wise, sometimes.

As for Telluride, well... I'll never miss that if I can help it.  If I'm unable to afford tickets, I'll probably do the volunteer thing again and just save for the trip down.

We are looking forward to volunteering...if we get picked. crossed fingers, crossed fingers, crosssed fingers.
 It seems like just another way for us to experience the Festivaaaaal and all the people that enjoy it.

The economy has, in a round a bout way, affected my festival attendance.  I now have to work twice as hard to make the same money.  My more limited time has certainly hurt my free time.  Of course - having 2 little ones doesn't help either. :)
