Call me crazy, but I think Jeff Bridges would make a nice addition to the TBF 2011 schedule.

I happened to catch a PBS production of American Masters last night about Jeff Bridges. It turns out, after Crazy Heart, he really got into music again and formed a band that actually travels!

The series creator and executive producer of American Masters, Susan Lacy says, “Jeff Bridges is one of our greatest screen actors...He has an incredible body of work but most of us didn’t know that he is, truly, a modern Renaissance Man, widely and wildly talented in, seemingly, all of the arts.”

After the show, I visited Bridge's website and streamed his album "Be Here Soon" and I am digging it, particularly the track, "She lay her whip down!"

Not only would it be pretty sweet to see The Dude on festival grounds, I really think he too would enjoy the festival and our community's unique camaraderie and spirit!

Yes sir! I like it  Thumbs Up  thanks for putting this up.

Now if Jeff Bridges did make it to the festival...would an obligatory Lebowski night be in order? at least a good evening of white russians to go around? I might have to bring a robe and my jellies sandals just in case...

I like the way you think, JAM Strait! Regardless of the presence of the dude, a Lebowski night is in order! I do believe I have seen Jesus at a previous TBF (2008 if I recall) -- full bowling "suit" and all!
