If a banjo player picks in the woods, and no one is there to hear him.... is he still making an awful lot of noise?

Rachel and I (Andy) both were shut out...Ah well, C'est La Vie.   I was really looking forward to lessons with Bub and Todd... I guess we will have to make the trek to Targhee!!!!!

It was not what I wanted to hear. I guess I'll try to see if someone decides not to go.

 Cheers

So sorry to say and so sad... that it looks like we will need to get used to not going. Our lotto entry was not selected this year so yes... maybe the mandolin symposium in Santa Cruz will finally happen for us or like another unselected lotto enterer said, maybe Targhee for the 1st time. All in all our family is pretty disappointed that we won't get to enjoy that wonderful time with friends and kindred spirits up in Lyons this summer, but glad that others will - but so disappointed for us.

Tom - is that you out there from Glenwood SPrings? Another time not selected?! I am sorry - we know at least 2 other groups of folks who also were not selected if that is any consolation at all. ......Perhaps the ticket resales will work for you/us/etc...?

Hi Linda - Yeah it's me. Actually Gypsum, just east of Glenwood Springs. It's almost become a game to see how many times I can get turned down.
