The best band you never heard of:

The Handsome Family

A couple of years ago at Folks, Jeff tweedy covered one of their songs and introduced it as "the best song ever written." Now that's some pretty high praise...

Probably old news, but a "too good to be true" collaboration of Steve Martin / Punch Brothers (appearing together on "Letterman" Nov. 4) would be an excellent TBF fit!!!

T-Bone Burnett was excellent at HSB.  He'd might fit in at TBF as well.

March Fourth Marching band - great burning man types from Portland with crazy stilt acrobats and more.

Karen Elson - just can't get enough of her.  Really interesting artist.

Well here's my $.02...

Neil Young
Paul Simon

and ya know, while I'm wishin...

TOM WAITS!!!!! (with a nightgrass show at the sheridan...might as well wish for something big!)

Could we get an afternoon set from Elephant Revival?? and if they're there, might as well give 'em a nightgrass show too, right?

I saw Merle Haggard mentioned before...Yes PLEASE!! (insert "finger's crossed smiley")

JJ Cale's another good'un

Dawg...it was great seeing him at Rockygrass, albeit under unfortunate circumstances

Tony...missed him at RG

Dave Rawlings Machine...too much fun last year not to invite them back

Old Crow Medicine Show...let them fellas close out a night

And may we never have to go a year without:
The House Band
Tim
Leftover

Oh...and one other one...did anyone else hear that the Tom Tom Club is back at it? that could be a nice curve ball and one helluva good time!
