Hi Fellow Festivarians -

My husband and I are coming up from Santa Fe, NM to experience our first Folks Festival.  Our question is:  Is it worth bringing/having bikes to get to/from the Festival and around town?  We are camping in Meadow Park and thought it may be a good idea to have bikes for the Festival as well as to explore Lyons.  Thoughts?

Also, if bringing/having a bike is a good idea, does anyone know of a bike rental shop in Lyons?

Thank you and can't wait to sing & dance w/y'all.

Meadow Park to "downtown" Lyons is something like less that .5 mile - a really easy walk, so you don't need a bike.  You certainly don't need to rent one.  If you have one, it makes getting around a little bit more fun, but nothing worth going out of your way for.

Thanks Erndog.  That gives us a picture and better sense of Lyons and the Fest.  Happy trails....
