Well said! However I will agree that the portys left something to be desired.  I think the cleaning crew did a poor job cleaning/maintaining the potties.

Amen Dewstar, well put! Great great weekend!! Perfect weather.
Yes, I agree the portys were definitely an issue at camp and at the venue. Hopefully enuf people will whine about the piled high conditions and fix this problem. There I go talking sh*t again.
I thought, 1 of the sleeper players of the weekend was Josh Williams of the Tony Rice Unit. I was talking to this young kid about how well his singing and guitar playing was. Then he tells me that he's really a mando player  (actually his instructor at the academy) and playing guitar in deference to Grisman! It must suck to be that good on your second instrument choice. I'm keeping an eye on this guy. Loved seeing Doc, Tim, Dan and the Seldom Scene. Not to slight any of the others, just my favorites.
Rockygrass rules!!

Totally agree with the Josh Williams comments....I only knew his name prior to Academy - now I want to see his band!

I was in Josh's class for mandolin.  He was a great teacher and extremely friendly person.  He certainly is talented.  His guitar and mandolin were great.  And he sure can sing those Tony Rice songs.
