Greetings,
My wife and I will be flying in for our 1st folks fest, want to buy a couple low beach chairs - any thoughts on some place local (lyons, longmont, boulder?)  Also, any suggestions on a place to donate them when the fest is over, sure won't pay the extra baggage fee to ship them home!  Thanks, look forward to meeting you all in 6 weeks!
Peace,
Al

REI in Boulder has a pretty good selection if I remember right. I was able to get a Kelsyus low back mesh chair there a few years back which I like a lot.. Also I would think that McGuckin's in Boulder would have something. The Ace Hardware store (Clarck's) in Lyons has often had a message on their marquee sign that said they have festival chairs but I'm not sure what sort of selection they have.

We have 2 extra chairs you can borrow if that helps.  You can call me (970.302.5105) or email me (jeri@ctos.com) if that works.  Take care and Happy Festival!

REI is probably your best bet.  It's on Hwy 36 in Boulder on the way to Lyons, so convenient.  (The big flagship REI store is in downtown Denver, if you're coming through Denver).  I have the wooden Byers chairs, they're great.  The thermarest padded foldup chairs are pretty comfortable, lightweight and convenient.  I would call the Boulder store in advance to check availability.  You may be able to order online and have them hold the chairs for you.  They Byers they might have to order in advance so contact them now.  Go to www.rei.com and search for chairs.

As for donating them afterwards, I'm sure you could find some local festivarians that would love to take them off your hands!

For chairs to keep, I'd go with the GCI Wilderness Recliner available at REI and elsewhere:

But, if you are looking for something NOT to take home and otherwise "donate", I don't think you can beat one of these:

Thanks for those links erndog.  This is gonna be year 2 for me and looking to invest in some chairs, so that was a huge help.
