Hello All...

I'm in a last minute scramble to get some plans together for my first trip to Telluride. We'll be getting in Thursday night around midnight, or possibly Friday morning.

Considering this late of an arrival, is it worth it to try and camp in town park, or will it be completely packed by that point?

Any advice is much appreciated. I've done many festivals, but have never been to TBF. Thanks!!

Assuming you have tickets for Town Park camping (which sold out last November), you should try to find a spot. It will be packed (it's packed right now, in fact), but there's always room for a few more.

If you don't have Town Park tickets, well, you'll figure it out. Worst case is you'll have to camp at Alta Lake or somewhere in the Nat'l Forrest and drive in/ride the shuttle/ride the gondola every day.

Good luck!

hey...thanks for the feedback. I have access to either town park or lawson hill camping. Just worried that arriving at TP that late may be more trouble than it is worth...

Between those 2 choices, head straight for town park. You might have to squeeze in somewhere that's not flat or shady, but you'll be mighty glad you're on-site.
