Festivarian?  That word appears to be synonymous with those attending Telluride.  Were there Festivarians at the first TBF or did that name take some years to evolve into common usage?

The name took a few years to catch up,
But indeed there were Festivarians Festivating in Town Park at the
Original Occurance.  That Town Park Festivation did indeed preceed
the opening of the original event.  An early attempt a ABGAT?
Indeed, recall that the first year was a 4th of July celebration -
The Festival did not begin until the 2nd year.

Frustivarian (n.)

One who has learned that they were not selected for the Town Park lottery, and is now trying like mad to find alternate housing.

Okay, Finally I have one. I can't resist this one. The word came about while typing copy for a web page. I meant to type festival, but I typed .....

festical (n)  what a certain part of a man's body becomes when the hot water runs out in the town park showers or after the morning hangover-crushing dip into Bear Creek

Telluride training tool: the five minute hourglass shower timer that came in the water conservation kit my city water bureau sent me when I asked for it.  Wink

Seriously though, the kit was full of awesome little tools to save some of that precious commodity Americans are now regularly paying more for than gasoline - and it was free! Check with your local water bureau and see if you too can be ready to make the most of those quarters come June.

I think I should have no other mortal wants, if I could always have plenty of music. It seems to infuse strength into my limbs and ideas into my brain. Life seems to go on without effort, when I am filled with music.

forganizer: (n.)

a pony-tailed forummer (who may or may not be Mexican) that finds it necessary to wake up and spend the morning  "organizing" the forum and bumping any and all topics he feels is relevant/interesting to bring back to the awareness of past festi-go-ers and new festi-go-ers that would find the information useful for their first TBF experience.

fexcuses (n.)

The excuses festivarians give for doing strange things related to their love and devotion to the festivarian family and their love of grass that is blue.
