3 chord's and a story that's me

URL icon « on: May 18, 2010, 06:02:23 PM »

So last year if you were abservant as you walked into fest there were a ton of cracked mirrors.... And the saying pasted to each was, "it has to be cracked, to let in the light."

And for many years past, but for some reason no longer, there was a poster framed of dogs playin poker....

My only question is,,, does this have some deep meaning or did Dustin, Ferg and Brian rip it up one night and  thought it would be entertaining to watch  some of us try to figure it out..... huh :medalbravo you win LOL

LOL That poster always reminded me of Ben :dog just before I entered fest....I missed it when it was gone. So wonder if it had meaning to anyone else.

It was on the street line side, Debbie.

They change out the entry path decor every year which is a very cool touch on the Planet's part.

I personally do not approve of dogs playing poker because it's gambling and my year-old puppy is not old enough to be exposed to such "adult" themes.

Living Life With Delusions Of Banjur

There are often times multiple layers of meaning in the art you see.

the quote you likely saw last year was:

"Blessed are the cracked, for they shall let in the light. "
— Groucho Marx

though it could have been the variation you remember.

It was a double meaning with the cracked mirrors, as there was also a play with another theme happening, and the main theme of last year's backstage: Alice in Wonderland, and it's sequel, "Through the Looking Glass".

There is always more than meets the eye. Wink

So what's this years 'Backstage Theme'???

Maybe we'd like to 'Mirror' it on the front side and see if the musicians 'get it'.  LOL
