I've decided to be a participant in the Walk for the Cure this Sunday. I am doing this with my fellow Desert Sharks Parrothead club. I'm sure there are others but I know our Auntie Hope has waged this battle.

Yes, I don't usually talk about it on forums, but I have battled cancer, like many of us here, unfortunately.

The good side, I'm still here and the experience gave me 'gumption' to finally follow my passion and attend The Telluride Bluegrass Festival that I had heard about for years and years. The friends and friendships I gained have been invaluable to say the least!

Thanks to all that may be walking, or perhaps supporting a loved one or loving friend going through treatment, for any kind of cancer. To me it means...

YOU'RE THE BEST!
