You guys are going to love this band... 

Joy Kills Sorrow

These are wonderfully sophisticated songwriters that find surprise and emotion around every corner.  These are virtuosic young musicians that love tone and melody and texture and restraint at least as much as they love hot solos.  And Emma's vocals... you've just gotta hear 'em...

We got their latest CD (Darkness Sure Becomes This City) late last fall, and we've listened to it dozens and dozens of times since.  It's one of the best records I've heard this year.  Here's a stream of that album:
