Hello fellow festivarians! I was fortunate enough to attend the Telluride fest a few years ago, and I have been to Rocky Grass a couple of times. I have the most wonderful memories and friends from these experiences. I am very excited to return to Telluride! We were very lucky and we won Town Park camping tickets, a true dream come true. I am not sure that we will be able to get there when the campground opens, and I was wondering if we get there on Wednesday if we will still be able to find a suitable camping space for two. We have a pretty good sized tent and a sunshade thing. Any other pieces of advice would be appreciated as well. We look forward to meeting you and sharing a wonderful experience!!

Cheers,
Amanda

Welcome Aboard, Amanda! Nice of you to join us!  Cheers

You should have no problem coming in on Wednesday. It will be tight, but as we've told others recently, nose around, look for friends, make new friends, and you shouldn't have any problem finding your new home in the mountains for the weekend.

Be sure to peruse this forum for other info related to the festival and then, when you're ready to jump in feet first, hit us up again with any other questions you might still have about Town Park.

Here are your first tips:

A. Bring quarters. The showers were 12 quarters last year at both the Town Park and Warner Field Bathhouses (we don't talk in dollars about the hot water situation).

B. A.B.G.A.T. stands for Advanced BlueGrass Assuilt Team.

You're Gonna Love This Place! Glad You're Here!  Thumbs Up

Oh there's always room for one more tent!  You can possibly get a spot big enough for a sunshade also or just meet your neighbors and share theirs.

Thanks for the info! It sounds like everyone is so welcoming :-) I am sure I will have questions as I prepare and pack!

Thanks again,
Amanda
