Hey folks,  Whats the earliest bus from Mary E. campground to work the tarp-run? Or is that  just not gonna happen......been a condo dweller in town last 10 years but going solo this year and camping in the woods seems the right thing to do. Thanks for the help!!!

If you're going solo I wouldn't worry about getting a tarp down for yourself.  Seems like a great opportunity to make new friends in the campground and in the festival!  Thumbs Up  All those new friends from the camp will be in there somewhere, so maybe you could just offer to help with their chairs and such in exchange for a nice spot on a tarp.  Talk  It all works out the way it's supposed to; after 10 years though, you already know that .

i've been on the first bus out, i think 7am, a few times and never scored a spot in front of the aisle.

needless to say, there isn't a bad spot there; i spend most of my time people watching or in awe of our surroundings.

i like the idea of going rogue and making new friends, but having home base is nice, for sure.

if nothing else, you can stash your stuff with us.

I've stayed in Illium both times I've been to TBF. We had three of us and never needed a tarp. WE were usually able to find a decent spot for most of the shows that was empty or whose owners didn't mind the company.
