Hi- Looking for a place, walking distance from town park, Thurs- Monday during the festival. There are 4 of us- 2 adults, 2 children. We're looking to stay at around 250-300 a night. Any ideas??!!

Thanks so much- Can't wait to see you there!

Hi Hadler  Wave
You might try http://www.vrbo.com/ - that's who I book through - should be able to find something in the price range you're looking for. Graysill, FallLine & Ore Station condos are pretty reasonable & alot of other options out there too.  Good Luck!

Telluride Bluegrass Fest -- 2011

Well, from past years experience, you'll be hard pressed to find accommodations IN Telluride for under 300/nite during the Festival.  If you expand your search to include Mountain Village (free gondola ride to Telluride), then the possibilities are increased a bit.  I've been staying at the Lodge at Mountain Village condos for the past few years, and its in the price range you're considering.
  Best of luck to you.

FYI .. This is a bad link.  It just times out with no 'returns' when you search for available properties during the Fest.

Try this one. When I clicked on your link, Miki, it took me here....

Hey Ron, do you think for 250-300 a night we could find these folks TP tickets and a decent tent? Think they'd fall for it as "specialty housing"? LOL LOL LOL
Just kidding! We love condo dwellers too! Just ask Miki!  :)

We are a family of four from Minnesota with a three-bedroom condo at the Icehouse, which is in within walking distance and within your price range. If you still need a place, I can supply you with details and more information, just email me at ssmith@mnmed.org

Good luck,

This Link has some properties available in Telluride, Mountain Village and Ridgway (40 minute drive) ranging from 200-400/nite or so.  As of today, they still have properties in all those locales.
