Sam Bush and I will be  spending the afternoon together watching this huge storm roll in over the mountains. Cheers

I will give his new CD Circles Around Me a listen now..... Full attention, headphones, no work. Lets see if he can make me dance again, all by myself. Flower

I'm sure he can. Heard it's traditional, love that.....

I'll be checking out OCMS at the Kent Folk Fest on Nov 11.  It'll be my 2nd time seeing them and cannot wait!    They would be incredible at TBF.

I also want to nominate Son Volt for TBF2010.   If you havent heard them, I think you would be impressed.

Jim Lauderdale's workshop with John Cowan was phenomenal at TBF 2009. I'd love to see him there again Cheers

Circles Around Me by Sam Bush. His new CD is great and the title song will bring ya to tears. Such a great tune and makes me long for  Telluride.

I think Telluride (TBF) means the same thing to all of us no matter if your on the stage or in the crowd.

We are family. Flower

Jailhouse Rock!

Howdy Dustin! With the lotto coming up in a week, was wondering who the Planet was working on for this year. Was going to start a thread, but this one works! Listening to the Dixie Beeliners on my public radio bluegrass show and they sound pretty good.
Went to James McMurtry at the Bluebird earlier this year with alot of the Camp Wander-In folks and he was freeking GREAT! Tony, Treasa, Carolyn, Kenny, Tommy and I had a ball. Think they would fit right in.
And for a fill-in, don't forget Big Ray and Asleep at the Wheel! A little duel fiddle Texas swing would get the folks up and dancing! Big Ray is getting a little older, but he and the Wheel can still cook!
Just my thoughts. You all always seem to surprise me every year with a great line-up! Keep up the good work.
Jailhouse Rob

Or...how about the Bob! Tommy just saw Mr. Dilon last week in Vagas and said he thinks that Keith Richards probably looks better, but he just plain Rocked!
