Hi all,

I am basically a RG virgin and I'm attempting to help the twitterverse figure out where to put together a meet up.  Any suggestions within grounds?  In Lyons?  I heard that Wild Bill's is great - and they have a senior discount!!

Helloooo Mel!  Bill is right....Oskar Blues is a good spot.  The festival grounds tends to not have great cellphone coverage by the way.  My iPhone had little or no service last year.  But, if you walk about 3 steps out of the grounds then you have great service.

Cool!  We're leaning toward on grounds, we're hoping to be able to get a larger turnout.  My initial thought was over by the beer tent, semi-close to the practice stage, etc.  I've only been once, so my memory is hazy.

Someone else also suggested Wild Bill's - apparently they have a senior discount.

All being well, the Brit contingent will be climbing off their plane and heading straight for Oskar Blues on Tuesday.

Does anyone know how many beer tents there are?  I only remember the one by the hula hoops.  Is there a layout mapping of the grounds anywhere?

Sheesh! I think I'll just say I'll be the one in the hippy skirt dancing to music - just come and say hi!

I akin it to being a 'born again virgin'.  You're right.  I'm not a virgin.  SIGH.

Perhaps simply 'Novice', 'green bean', 'new recruit' would have been more fitting.  Wink

We decided to meet at 5pm on Friday at the WildFlower Pavilion.  Join us to say hi.  I don't know what to expect, but I'm thinking there will be beer within 50 feet or so, hula hoops, and I heard there might be some bluegrass music goin' on.

I will be making my rounds at the world of beer (tents) too.  Hope to see you there!

Hi back at ya!!!  Thumbs Up

Y'all should give Wild Bill's a chance.  I live right behind the Outlaw and personally, it's my bar of choice.  For one, they have a wider beer selection...  And their menu is much more affordable.

Is there a place where everyone has posted their Twitter links?  Mine is twitter.com/garian of course.

These are also of interest, I'm sure:

Hope to see you there!!
