Does anyone know if they are ever going to release a CD or DVD from the 05 RG?? They had all those cameras and mikes setup like you'd see for a documentary shoot.  Are they all tied up in legal bullsh*t or what?? That lineup was stellar! Let's get it released! I'm ready to relive it again. I'm sure a few of you vets and newbies would snap it up in a heartbeat if it were available.

been wondering this for a long time too.  the cameras were kind of annoying at times, but it would have all been worth it.

You know the archivers for sure will record. I 'd be surprised if they try the 05 thing  unless all the artists sign some type of release . Otherwise we'll have another epic wait .
I believe that even the 05 program made mention of such a studly lineup needing official documenting. Every year I get my RG tix I hope on seeing that years music show up in the Mercantile. Alas still not out !
Maybe someday.

I heard that the footage was so poorly shot that it will never see the light of day.
Unfortunate.

I hope you're wrong because I was really stoked to see it recreated on video. I can't believe  w/at least 3 cameras going at a time, that it's all junk. If you're right BUMMER!!

Does anyone know what festival film KC Groves was talking about Sunday morning? She asked who had seen the festival film and quite a few people raised their hand. I thought "Hmmm, did they finally release something from '05?" I searched online for it on Monday  but couldn't find anything from '05 or really ever. Is there maybe a TBF film out there or something? Or perhaps there is an unreleased compilation of the 05 footage floating around?

Think about the archive of soundboards that PB is sitting on.  Decades of Telluride & Rockygrass.  Almost rivals the Dead vault.  Better in many ways.

Oh to have access for just one night!  Or maybe a weekend.
