 Wave Hi  Y'all
this was my first time in TP and had a great time  got there on tues am and was overwhelmed with the fact that most folks arrived on friday of the previous week    I  found a spot in primitivie camping far from bathroom and shower but all in all a great time.. nice neighbors too!!
is this the norm in TP to come friday or sat to set up?  i still saw tarps on sunday night ( the last day) of fest still not used.  hey to everyone if you have your spot  then lets others use the area too..it makes for happy festavarians!! Flower             Tess

We often have a few tarps down for our late-comers but - except for this year by happenstance - always accept newcomers - all they have to do is ask if we have space.    Wave

We bend over backwards to accommodate and welcome them with offers of food, drink  Cheers  and bad jokes  LOL   And more often than not, we've made new friends, ones who get a reserve tarp thrown for them for the next year's festival if need be.

Me festivarian bio says: "Annecdote: the very first people I met in Town Park (@ Site #28!!!) my first year are still the same people I camp with every year!!!!"  We just asked if they had space -- that was 13 years ago -- now they're family.   Flower

After 10 -11 years of TBF from town, left town to travel.  Met wife, came back w/ her after being in Ca. for summer of festivals, camping, work, and looking for a better living spot than Telluride.  Rather than stay w/ friends we landed in Town Park just before FESTIVALLLL and wound up close to the front line under the largest pine.  Nestled in w/ a little kitchen and such fine neighbors Steve and ____(haven't seen since then) and Bob and Denise from Chi-town.  Unfortunately Brandy (Wifey) was w/ cold, fortunately w/ our first child.  I made alot of trips from vendors to camp to tarp to vendors to tent to tarp to tent to vendors. . . Love Town Park during Bluegrass, good use.  Always good to ask if there is space, esp. since there is.
