Wave, Hey there all you folks waitin' for your TOE JOBS, can you imagine pickin'  pine mulch and pebbles out of your butt ? We haven't been able to score any free used carpet here in Flagstaff  to cover the Tiki Bar, 10' x 20' & 10' X 10 will cover it all ! Dust free dancin' too. Can anybody help us out.........( Steamboat ) ?

30 sq. yds of this would be useful, and re-useable, and would cost about $120.00  Just a thought.  It's still more pricey then free carpet, though...

Let me know what you think.  Depending on available space in my van, I was contemplating getting some of this for dust control purposes as well.  But I have no idea if I'll have the room for it.  And check to see if water can pass through it.  If it rains, it needs to drain, not pool up.  Unless you wanna start a Tiki Bar Slip-n-Slide party!

woohoo!  i just got off the phone with my ultra cool parents and they are more than happy to lend us two lovely outdoor rugs for the duration of the festival.  i don't have actual dimensions, but they are AT LEAST 10x15 and are both made out of plastic weave, so the lovely tiki camp won't get that slip 'n slide effect when it rains.  my mother says that as long as people are happy sitting and dancing on the rugs, then she doesn't care what condition they are returned in; she wasn't really pleased with how they looked on her patio.

they will be delivered to albuquerque tomorrow (from santa fe) and i will pick them up at lunch time.  so bevin, if i can drop them off to you sometime tomorrow in the early afternoon so you can get them up to the tiki camp in time for the toe jobs (we won't pull in until tuesday night), that would be best.

booyah!

In 2006 I rolled my VW camper on the way to Tellluride because it was overloaded.  I'm really really trying not to do that again.

i'm confusing, sorry!  i totally have two rugs, but it appears i am too nice, and that the rugs are spoken for.   EEK!   i'll totally come help you pick up rocks and pine needles, though, GandD!   Flower

sams club, where these rugs are from, has really reasonable outdoor rugs that can be used again and again and offer pretty decent drainage.  you can go in for a single day to shop without a membership.  costco has the same type of product, but they're not as friendly about being non-members.

I think it would be more like a "Sip", slip, and slide.  I think that already happens on dry ground too!  For sure the sip part, and I've slipped, slid, wobbled, hobbled, Wandered in, Run amuck, been to Jail(house), been Totally Lit, went down to the Crossroads, snuck through Maple Alley with Sally, been to the govenah's McMansion, did the monster M*A*S*H, got freaky at the Tiki, potlucked in Billy, choked on a Fishbone, didn't Get Enough, so I did it all again!
and again, and again, and again, and again, and I ain't done yet!
