This is my first time and I have a question also, if I get to Town Park on say tuesday can I get a spot easily for my tent?  seems that many folks are coming early and don't want to be in the river !!  My daughter stayed at Illium last year so she wasn't sure on the situation at TP. also can a tarp be  put on your camp site for shade?  looking forward to meeting all  you nice folks there that help us all out with our questions..  Tess   Flower

There will be space for everyone!  And you can string a tarp in the trees for shade if you need it (and if you're nice to the trees) or you can bring shelters like Kelty Sunshades and EZ-Ups.  Just don't be too daunted by how the campground looks (ie, crowded) when you pull in.  Find a temp spot for your car and get out and wander around a while - you'll find a nice camp site for sure.
