Deadheads Unite!!! I am a 52 year old hippie (well on the weekend anyway) who grew up on the Grateful Dead, Frank Zappa, and Led Zeppelin. Linda (wife) is a hot looking 48 year old who led a sheltered childhood but loves bluegrass music. I managed to make it to the TBF back in 1996 and stayed in Town Park....best festival ever!!! Linda has been with me to Merlefest in North Carolina a couple of times but has never camped out at a festival. By the grace of God, we scored some Town Park Tickets this year and I am packing as I type this. You can imagine how excited I am to treat Linda to her first Telluride!!!

I'm getting to Town Park as soon as possible but need your help. Flying to Grand Junction Friday night. Shopping for essentials that won't fit on the plane Saturday morning. Then buzzing over to Telluride Saturday afternoon. I know how fast the campground fills up and I don't want to have to pitch my tent in the river. Can any helpful local festivarians give this Tennessee Jed (actually Tennessee Den & Lin) a hand by staking down my ground cloth Saturday Morning... after you get your tents up of course?. I'll ship it to you so you'll have it by Thursday or Friday, whatever you need. Probably throw my coleman stove and lantern in the box which you can just toss on top of the ground cloth until we arrive. For your trouble, I'll bring along one of my coveted taped Dead shows on CD and buy you some beer or a tee shirt or whatever. Plus you'll get to keep whatever I can't take back with me...
ie. cooler, leftover propane, tin foil, etc.

You can email me at Harleydls@gmail.com.   Thanks gadzooks!!! BTW, is there a calendar of events at the Town Park Campground for the before festival activities. I want to make sure Lin get's the full and complete Telluride experience!!!

Peace, Denis Wave

Official pre-Fest activity schedule here...

You should be fine for space if you're rolling in on Saturday afternoon (June 13, right?), but we can save a tent site for you at or near Camp Totally Lit.  No need to ship a tarp.  I've got something like 30 tarps already.  How much room do you need?

Hi, Bevin's right, finding a spot on Saturday isn't a problem...it's showing up on Wed. or Thurs. that your tent might end up on a hill, in a wash, or right next to some really loud folks (like the tiki bar).  But you are always welcome  Cheers

O.K. I'm resting easier now. So I'm a master at cooking in the wilds but am not going to be able to fly my kitchen in. Anyone want to trade my helping hands and some produce for some hot steaming vittles??? Wife Linda says she'll help too cause I make her peel the vegies at home anyway.

Cheers Grrr Grrr Grrr Concert :dance :dance
