Hi all   Wave

I'm a newbie to the forum and I'm just finding my way around it. I'm impressed by the amount of information available and the friendy banter that litter almost every post.  Thumbs Up

A little bit about me: I was introduced to the world of bluegrass last year and I have been hooked ever since. I enjoy listening to Sam Bush, Darrell Scott, Emmylou and Bearfoot just to name a few and I need to feed my habit every day. LOL

Im absolutely desperate now to meet with other festivarians and taste the atmospheric environment of RockyGrass and live/real time bluegrass at its best.  Medal

I've posted a plea for an on-site 3 day camping and festival pass ticket on RockyGrass ticket/exchange/swap 'Desperately seeking...' so I'm hoping that someone will be able to help me or give me advice to make my dream to join my friends come true.  Flower

Regards

BGBG

Thanx a lot..... Flower

It's just my luck to be unable to access a computer and miss the golden ticket with my name on it.... ha!

I believe in Lady Luck but I've heard about the rarity of rocking horse shit and seemingly festival tix so I live in hope of a miracle  :)

If you diligently search for tickets, you will find them. Even though you have posted that you are looking, others will post that they have some without having read your post, and you will need to be first to respond. Keep looking at the website for returns, and don't get discouraged, especially this early. There will be a small wave of tickets after Telluride of those who are out of energy to go to both. Thumbs Up
and oh how the reward of your diligence be worth it!

I must admit to holding my breath with anticipation as I log on and feeling deflated soon after but I'll keep on trying  :)

The bulk of the tickets will go up for sale in the last 3 weeks prior to the show.
Right now it's all about Telluride on the forum, once it is over all attention switches to Rocky Grass.

At 3 weeks this is when people realize they can not go to the show for what ever reason and it's time to sell. Check the forum relentlessly during this period and you will find tickets. The trick is to be watching all the time, they will pop up, you just have to be right on it cause your one of many looking for the golden ticket. I wouldn't pass up to many 3 day passes looking for an On-site either, get a ticket and your in good shape, all the campgrounds are close and nice.

Good luck

... and don't get too hung up on the on-site thing at Rocky Grass.  The camping at Meadow Park is top notch and it's only a 5-minute walk to the on-site campground (plus it's less crowded, less dusty, less rowdy - not that rowdy is a bad thing - and you can actually sleep).  If you need a big friendly group to camp with in Meadow Park, Camp Totally Lit will  be in its usual location on the grassy field behind the porta-johns, with a large communal kitchen rig and ez-ups and stuff.  Come join the party - we're always open to new friends!

Dave, are you camping with us again in Meadow Park this year?  I hope so.  I need to bring a rod with me this time.

And I think we (Camp Totally Lit) might host the Wednesday night pre-party for all the on-site folks who can't get in to set up camp until Thursday.  Whaddaya think?
