just got back from the frenchbroadriverfest
first fest of the summer and i cant even explain how much more excited i am to be traveling to colorado in some weeks for telluride. other festivals are nice, but i need more bluegrass! and festavarian spirit!
met up with sarah at frenchbroad and she was telling me how shes been to festival for the past several years, and just being able to hang out and share the energy that telluride eminates with a fellow festavarian has raised my spirits to a whole new level
after i got my ticket a couple months ago, i have just been looking so forward to festival, and now that the time is closer and closer, and im begininng to meet some others who go to telluride, i can see how the year long wait is experienced and felt. i just feel so lucky, and am so pumped!!!!!!!!!!!!

must be only about a month and a half now huh? probably alot sooner for the abgat and all yall.....
this permagrin feels nice and aint goin nowhere till i hit the road for sure  Rollin

laying in bed tonight i was thinking and listening to all the dogs and the sirens and the shots, and how a careful man tires to dodge the bullets while a happy man takes a walk - the eels

Dang man, I really want to go to one of those (French Broad River Fests).  Grew up in Mars Hill and used to guide on the Noli and the Broad before I moved to Flagstaff about 10 years ago.  That was probably right about the time they started throwing that shindig in Hot Springs.  How was it, and do you have any photos?
Thanks,
Robb
